Our host partner is FICA (Faith in Community Aiders). They are a registered faith based organization with Christian principles.
The people of Zimbabwe have limited access to medical care and usually cannot afford to pay the price. In the rural areas where we will serve they are treated by community health workers who have very minimal access to supplies and medication. The people along with the Zimbabwe government will greatly appreciate your willingness to travel and provide assessment, treatment and health education. We will also be bring with us the saving gospel of Jesus, and they are very open to hearing about Christ and receiving prayer.
For this trip we desire health care professionals with at least 2 years experience working in the medical field after graduation. This is a requirement of Zimbabwe licensing board. They will not allow medical or dental students.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- You must complete and pass our background check.You will receive this information after your application is approved. Please complete this requirement within 3 weeks of your application approval.
- Each participant will need to provide 3 references. We have made the process as easy as possible as you will send them a link to complete the short reference. They will receive information regarding this after their application is approved.
- Passport with 2 blank pages and at least 6 months past return date of trip 01/21/25 Provide clear color copy of passport face page by 3/22/24
- Medical professionals please provide clear copies by 3/22/24 of your diploma (primary and post graduate), professional license, current resume.
- Consider obtaining Hepatitis A & B and oral typhoid vaccines. Measles vaccine recommended. For more information:https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel
- 4 passport photos are required
- A visa is required. This will be discussed at our 1st team meeting held via Zoom.
Responsibilities
- We ask each participant to attend team meetings, be on time during the trip and attend all trip activities
- We expect participants to be a team player, demonstrate flexibility and be an example of Christ at all times. We will discuss further at our team meetings held via zoom.

- Complete application, background check, provide references. complete release forms (see attached form) and submit all required documents by due date 03/24/24
- Start fundraising and submit required payments by due date.
